Founder

Dr. Natasha Kung

Lyric-Coloratura Soprano Natasha Kung has an international career as a scholar and opera singers. Since 2018, she had engagements with Verismo Opera including I Pagliacci (Nedda) and L’amico Fritz Invitation (Suzel). In 2019, she performed Madama Butterfly (Cio-Cio San), and In 2022 she had performer Il Trovatore (Leonora) in Mira theater. She has served as Lecturer of Music in West Valley College and have taught multiple music classes, including Challenger School and Diocese schools in Bay Area. In addition to music education, Dr.Kung has given enormous recitals internationally including Baltimore, Twin Cities, San Francisco, Taipei, and Chongqing. She has performed principal roles in Die Zauberflote (Pamina), I Pagliacci (Nedda), Cendrillon
(Luccette/Cendrillon), Die Fledermaus (Rosalinda), Cosi Fan Tutte (Fiodiligi) and La Traviata(Violetta). Opera Director Roger Brunet has described her as “An emerging star...a Soprano who has unique voice...”
Natasha received the Master of Music Degree from Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University and Doctor of Music Arts Degree from University of Minnesota. In 2005, Natasha was awarded a scholarship by the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), USA. From 2008 to 2010, Natasha served as full time Assistant professor and Opera Director at NCYU . Meanwhile, she directed the complete production of Candide by Bernstein and The Sound of Music by Richard Rogers. She also went on a series of concert tours of Mozart Concert Arias with NCYU Orchestra.
In 2013, she served as full-time Associate Professor in Southwest University and debuted a variety of Silk Road Music and ethnic songs in China. Her current recording and theater projects have been sponsored by Google Art Institute for Virtual Reality related applications since 2015.
